Spring 2026 Season

Turn up the volume—Spring 2026 is here!

At School of Rock Doylestown, we’re thrilled to announce our Spring 2026 Performance Program season, featuring eight powerhouse themes that celebrate rock’s most iconic eras, movements, and legends. Students will learn, rehearse, and perform full sets inspired by groundbreaking artists while developing musicianship, stage presence, and collaboration skills.

Here’s a look at what’s on deck this season:

Iron Maiden vs. Judas Priest

Two titans of British heavy metal face off in a battle of soaring vocals, blazing guitars, and thunderous rhythms. Students will master complex arrangements, harmony guitar lines, and the energy that defined the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.

Local Legends

A tribute to the incredible artists who’ve emerged from our own Pennsylvania music scene and beyond. From indie icons to breakout rock acts, this show celebrates the creativity growing right in our backyard.

Garage Rock

Raw, loud, and unpolished—just the way rock was meant to be. This show channels the rebellious spirit of bands like The Strokes, The White Stripes, and The Hives, giving students a chance to explore attitude-driven, high-energy performances.

Left of the Dial

Take a trip back to the ‘90s with songs that ruled college radio. Think R.E.M., Pixies, Sonic Youth, and other alt-rock trailblazers that shaped a generation of underground and mainstream sounds alike.

Riot Grrrl

Born out of Seattle’s punk and feminist movements, the Riot Grrrl show empowers students to channel raw emotion and fearless authenticity through artists like Bikini Kill, Sleater-Kinney, and Bratmobile.

Rock ‘n Grohl

Celebrate one of modern rock’s most influential figures—Dave Grohl. From Nirvana to Foo Fighters and Them Crooked Vultures, this show explores Grohl’s incredible career as both drummer and frontman.

70’s Hard Rock

Dig into the decade that defined arena rock. Students will crank up the amps with classics from Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, and Deep Purple—perfecting big riffs, dynamic solos, and the swagger of true rock stars.

Holy Trinity of Emo

Emotional, theatrical, and larger-than-life—the “Holy Trinity” of My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, and Panic! At The Disco brings soaring choruses, dramatic lyrics, and high-energy performances that defined 2000s alternative rock.
