MUSIC OF TAYLOR SWIFT SUMMER CAMP
Congratulations and welcome! You’re all signed-up for a summer camp here at School of Rock Doylestown! The following is some helpful info so you can make the most of your School of Rock Experience.
Your student is enrolled in our MUSIC OF TAYLOR SWIFT camp that will run Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Over the course of the week, students will dissect and learn a variety of songs ranging from the hits to deep cuts and they’ll end with an awesome performance for friends and family on the final day at the school starting at 2:00pm - start telling everyone now! Campers go from zero to sixty in one short week and will be surrounded by peers who love music just as much as they do.
If you haven’t already, please sign the waivers on our School of Rock client portal called Pike 13. This LINK will take you to the log-in page. With your Pike13 account, you can update your child's personal information, view past invoices, view your schedule and manage all payment information.

SUMMER CAMP FAQs
Q: Does my child need to bring their own instrument or are instruments provided?
A: Drums and keyboards are provided. Guitar & bass players should bring their own instruments & picks, vocalists should bring their own mics and drummers should bring their own sticks. It’s recommended that students have their own instrument at home to practice on as well. (We understand that as beginners, students may not own their own equipment yet. That is ok. We have instruments here they can borrow for the week, but they must stay at the school and cannot be taken home.)
Q: Does my child need to bring a lunch or snack? Is any food provided throughout the day?
A: Each student needs to bring their own lunch and water each day. We also suggest that students pack snacks for themselves throughout the day as well. We do have a vending machine with snacks and drinks and each item is $1.
Q: What does an average day of SOR camp look like? Do they play music ALL day long?
A: A typical day at camp involves fun games and activities, small group rehearsal sessions and group / individual lessons on their instrument. The first day of camp doesn’t involve as much instrument time as the rest of the week as we’re listening to the songs as a group and figuring out parts.
Q: Do the students need to have any musical experience or will you teach them at camp?
A: For every camp (other than Rookies or Rock 101), we recommend that your student has at least some experience on their instrument. If they do not, no worries! We offer lesson packs to get your student up to speed before camp. Give us a call to learn more.
Q: Where does SOR camp take place?
A: Our camps all take place at School of Rock Doylestown, 88 South Main St., Doylestown, PA. 18901
Q: What ages of students attend camp? Will there be someone close to my child’s age?
A: Rock 101 camps range from 7 - 12 years old and our Performance camps will range from 8 - 18 years old. We believe that students should gain experience learning from and interacting with students of different ages, backgrounds and abilities. We tend to always have a few students in each age bracket, but each camp is different.
Q: Who are the Instructors/Staff?
A: Our instructors are real working, professional musicians. They are chosen not only based on their qualifications, but also how they can relate with our students. Every instructor has cleared a background check and is trained to work with students in the age range of the camp they’re directing.
Q: What is the Student : Instructor ratio?
A: We try to have a 1:6 ratio in all our camps.
Q: How can I contact my child in the case of an emergency?
A: Please call us (215)230-3406. You may also email us at doylestown@schoolofrock.com or text us at 877-631-4149
Q: What happens if we can’t make it to camp one/multiple day(s)?
A: We have limited space in our camps and wait lists for some. We ask that your child attends all 5-days of camp as they’re a large part of the program. There are no partial refunds due to days missed.
Q: What are some things NOT to bring to camp?
A: Please do not allow your child to bring any toys, trading cards, dolls, personal electronic devices, etc. Anything that might distract them should stay at home. We do not take responsibility for any broken or lost items.
Q: Can I send treats to share with the other campers?
A: This is a nice idea, but we want to avoid contact with any allergies or possible airborne allergens.
Q: What are your drop-off and pick-up policies?
A: For all camps drop off is between 8:45am – 9:00am and pick up by 3:15pm at the latest, except for Friday when the performance begins at 2:00pm, campers will go home with parents after the performance.
